The Forge

London’s music culture is constantly expanding and combining tradition with eclectic designs and music from all around the world. A venue that has embodied that message in recent years has been The Forge, located in Camden Town.

Music performed ranges from poetry, spoken word and storytelling, to indie, folk and classical. Weekends differ from that routine however, as the team organises weekly reggae nights. Additionally, the venue specialises in Latin American street foods during daytime hours.

History

Founded in 2009, The Forge has stood out in the midst of colourful and vibrant Camden by showcasing the diversity of the music scene in London. The venue has won multiple awards such as a Civil Trust Award, for the building’s unique, sustainable design. The key aesthetics of the building, like its 6 metre wall of plants, solar panel energy and natural ventilation.

The venue is available for hire for various events such as parties, wedding receptions, functions and business events.

Accessibility

Located in Delancey Street, the building is only 4 minutes from Camden Town Station and is accessible through the Underground Northern Line. Multiple buses are available throughout all hours of the day.
